
Genesys Cloud users who are members of a group and are eligible for group ring alerts can receive alerts while on an active ACD call.Genesys Cloud users who are members of more than one group and are eligible for alerts can receive alerts while on another group ring call for a different group.For more information, see Presence, status, and activity indicators overview.

Group members can see missed group calls in their call history. Genesys Cloud only alerts group members who have selected a station. It also does not alert members whose presence is Busy, Break, Meeting, Training, Meal, Out of Office, or offline. Genesys Cloud does not alert group members who have call forwarding enabled.Therefore, to avoid disconnection, users must answer with a verbal response. Genesys Cloud uses call analysis to verify delivery of calls to remote phones. To receive group ring calls, an owner of a group must also be a member.Only official members of the group receive group ring calls. Official members of a group are Genesys Cloud users that an administrator adds to the group.For more information, see DID assignments or Extension assignments. To receive group ring alerts, group members must have a DID number or extension assigned to them.If you're using iOS 13 or earlier, go to Clock > Bedtime > Optionsand use this tab to toggle sleep and alarm settings. From there, you can alter your alarm volume independent of other volume settings on your iPhone, and toggle the Snooze function. To do this, users on iOS 14 can go to Clock > Change Sleep|Wake alarmand switch on Wake up alarm. IPhone users can set their wake-up alarm to be a different volume to other settings, such as their ringtone. However, volume settings do not have to be uniform across all sound types. The volume setting for these is the same, so your ringtone will play at the same volume as your text tone, for instance.

In all our examples, the XXs stand for the number of seconds you'd like the phone to ring for before voice mail kicks in.
